Tim McGraw’s Swampstock Slated for Sept. 13
Tim McGraw’s hometown concert, Swampstock, will take
place on Sept. 13 in Rayville, La. McGraw and Faith
Hill will perform on the steps of Richland Parish
Courthouse. Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Halfway to
Hazard and Catherine Raney will also play. “We are
anxious to return this year with an amazing line up
of artists,” says McGraw. “In addition to supporting
Rayville Youth Baseball and the Steve Colvin Scholar-
ships, it’s great to add Habitat for Humanity of
Ouachita and keep the focus on helping the local
community. I’m encouraging everyone to help us make

Brad Paisley
Sells More Than 500,000 Concert Tickets in 2008
Brad Paisley will surpass 500,000 tickets sold this
year, with his concert in St. Paul, Minn., on Friday
night (Aug. 22). So far, Paisley has made 56 stops in
2008 during his Bonfires and Amplifiers tour and his
current Paisley Party tour. “This number means more
to me this year than ever knowing how strapped people
are economically these days,” says Paisley. “The fact
that fans are willing to both buy tickets and the
gasoline necessary to come to a show is the ultimate
compliment and I am so thankful.” Paisley will also
tour in early 2009, with details to be announced
soon.
